Meet the Heart and Soul Behind Our Prosperous Pecan Orchard
Get to know us - a family deeply rooted in the pecan farming tradition, dedicated to delivering the highest quality pecans straight from our orchard.
The Ramirez Family
After retiring from the USAF, Guadalupe Ramirez purchased the pecan farm in Clint from Mr. and Mrs. Hajost in hopes of working on the farm and eventually passing the business on to his children. Now almost 13 years later, his son, daughter-in-law and grandkids live and work on the pecan orchard.
With the success of the farm and wanting to branch out closer to the city, the bakery/store was opened in Bassett Center Mall. We were there for close to 7 years now and are always working towards the success of the business and fostering local relations. With the timing of the Bassett remodel, we decided to close the location and focus on our location in Clint.
Lupe Jr and Jessica live and work on the Clint Farm; growing and maintaining the trees, cleaning or shelling pecans and being responsible for all the day to day operations. Growing up on the farm has meant Adrian and Ashley are also a part of the family business. They are learning how to work on a farm, responsibility of the business aspects and perhaps most importantly enjoying being kids.
The only member of the family not living in Texas, Monica, still works with the business as much as possible however joined the USAF and separated in 2007. Now working in Maryland, she tries to work on any activities that can be done remotely.
